Instructions

Place the hook in the vise and run the thread along the shank from the eye to a point opposite the barb.

Apply a mixture of antron dubbing to the thread forming a small dubbing rope.

Create a slightly tapered body, leaving about two hook eye lengths for the wing and hackle.

Catch in a small lengthof poly yarn, adjust so that the end of the yarn extends slightly beyond the bend.

Trim the excess and cover the butt ends forming an even under body for the hackle.

Prepare and catch in a dry fly hackle t the tie in point for the wing.

Take wraps of hackle towards the hook eye, remove the excess and form a small head.

Whip finish and apply head cement.
